Type specimen: CM 32025, a carapace. Its type locality is Martin Marietta Quarry [Castle Hayne Limestone], which is in a Bartonian marine limestone in the Castle Hayne Formation of North Carolina.

Ecology: semi-infaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Martin Marietta Quarry [Castle Hayne Limestone]
