Type specimen: IBIGEO-P 81, a partial skull. Its type locality is Cerro Bayo, which is in a Bartonian channel sandstone in the Quebrada de los Colorados Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial herbivore

Distribution: found only at Cerro Bayo
