Sister taxon: Hesperomena canadensis
Type specimen: USNM 117560. Its type locality is One mile north of the mouth of Ikes Canyon, Toquima Range, which is in a Whiterockian carbonate limestone in the Antelope Valley Formation of Nevada.

• Whiterockian of United States (3: Nevada collections)
