Type specimen: MPCA-AT 258, a shell (carapace and plastron). Its type locality is El Anfiteatro, Parrita site [MPCA], which is in a Coniacian/Santonian crevasse splay mudstone in the Plottier Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: amphibious piscivore
Distribution: found only at El Anfiteatro, Parrita site [MPCA]
