Sister taxon: Entomolestes grangeri
Type specimen: UCM 95687, a mandible (left dentary with p4-m1). Its type locality is Donna's Locality, which is in an Uintan terrestrial claystone in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: semifossorial insectivore-carnivore
Distribution: found only at Donna's Locality
