Type specimen: VNIGRI 115/3192. Its type locality is Vandob Ravine, Kugitangtau Range (top Tangiduval Fm), which is in a Bathonian marine horizon in the Tangiduval Formation of Uzbekistan.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
