Sister taxa: Failleana calva, Failleana limbata, Failleana magnifica
Type specimen: GSC 122160, a cephalon/head. Its type locality is A222, which is in an Aeronian open shallow subtidal shale/limestone in the Jupiter Formation of Canada.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution:
• Silurian of Canada (10: Quebec collections)
Total: 10 collections each including a single occurrence
