Sister taxa: Paraperaspis angustus, Paraperaspis convergens
Type specimen: NIGP 155246, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Collection NJ374, Dawangou, northwestern Tarim Basin, which is in a Sandbian basinal (siliciclastic) mudstone/lime mudstone in the Saergan Formation of China.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution:
• Ordovician of China (12 collections)
