Type specimen: UCMP 106681, a shell. Its type locality is Columbia (USGS 25028) - Hickman (1980), which is in a Priabonian deep-water siltstone/mudstone in the Keasey Formation of Oregon.

Ecology: facultatively mobile semi-infaunal suspension feeder

Distribution:

• Eocene of United States (3: Oregon collections)
