Type specimen: MSU VP771, a partial shell. Its type locality is WaKeeney (Unit C), which is in a Miocene floodplain sandstone/siltstone in the Ogallala Formation of Kansas.

Ecology: aquatic durophage-piscivore

Distribution: found only at WaKeeney (Unit C)
