Type specimens:
- Zorotypus (Zorotypus) denticulatus: NIGP 166619, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (NIGP collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
- Zorotypus oligophleps: EMTG BU-002294, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (EMTG collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
