Type specimen: NIGP 166620, a wing. Its type locality is Sihetun (NIGP coll), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Sihetun (NIGP coll)
