Type specimen: GMNH-PV-3210, a partial skeleton (cranium, mandibles, cervical, thoracic, lumbar and caudal vertebrae, chevrons, ribs, scapulas, humeri, radii, ulnae, carpals, metacarpals and phalangeal bones). Its type locality is Akishima, which is in a Pleistocene marine horizon in the Komiya Formation of Japan.

Distribution: found only at Akishima
