Sister taxa: Mioeuoticus bishopi, Mioeuoticus shipmani
Type specimen: (KNM-BG 48081, a maxilla (right maxilla with P4 –M3). Its type locality is Nachola Site BG-K, which is in a Miocene terrestrial horizon in the Aka Aithputh Formation of Kenya.
Ecology: arboreal insectivore-herbivore
Distribution: found only at Nachola Site BG-K
