Sister taxon: Cretastenophlebia mongolica
Type specimen: NIGP 164468, a forewing. Its type locality is Hanxiagou, Chijin Town, Jiuquan City, which is in an Albian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Zhonggou Formation of China.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Hanxiagou, Chijin Town, Jiuquan City
