Type specimen: MPZ 2017/1, a skull (complete skull of a subadult individual which preserves alveoli of P1-4, a complete le P5, and M1-3 on both sides). Its type locality is Castejón de Sobrarbe, which is in a Lutetian deltaic mudstone in the Sobrarbe Formation of Spain.
Ecology: aquatic herbivore
Distribution: found only at Castejón de Sobrarbe
