Sister taxon: Kichechia zamanae
Type specimen: KNM-MO24, a mandible (right dentary w p2-m1). Its type locality is Moruorot, which is in a Burdigalian terrestrial volcaniclastic in the Lothidok Formation of Kenya.
Ecology: scansorial omnivore
Distribution:
• Miocene of Kenya (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
