Type specimen: LACM 42815, a set of limb elements (left and right humeri). Its type locality is Sharktooth Hill Bonebed, which is in a Langhian terrestrial siltstone in the Temblor Formation of California.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Sharktooth Hill Bonebed
