Type specimen: EMNH.47.1, a shell. Its type locality is Cava Cerniglia, Monte Kumeta, level FA6, which is in a Bathonian carbonate limestone in Italy.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Cava Cerniglia, Monte Kumeta, level FA6
