Sister taxa: Nesotrochis picapicensis, Nesotrochis steganinos

Type specimen: USNM 225845, a limb element (right femur). Its type locality is Magen's Bay, St. Thomas (de Booy collection), which is in a Holocene terrestrial siliciclastic in Virgin Islands.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution:

• Quaternary of Puerto Rico (5 collections), Virgin Islands (5)

Total: 10 collections each including a single occurrence
