Sister taxa: Eomerope asiatica, Eomerope eonearctica, Eomerope macabeensis, Eomerope pacifica, Eomerope tortriciformis
Type specimen: RBCM.EH2017.003.0001.001, a forewing. Its type locality is Black Mine Road, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large shale in the Allenby Formation of Canada.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Black Mine Road
