Sister taxa: Echinosphaerites (Echinosphaerites), Echinosphaerites aurantium, Echinosphaerites barrandei, Echinosphaerites difformis, Echinosphaerites grandis, Echinosphaerites granulatus
Type specimen: Its type locality is Holoubkov – Ouzký, which is in a Tremadoc shoreface ironstone/chert in the Trenice Formation of Czechia
Ecology: stationary intermediate-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Holoubkov – Ouzký
