Type specimen: CPC 11395 (external mould of aboral surface). Its type locality is QP 243, near Cornford Bore, which is in an Ordian coastal chert in the Beetle Creek Formation of Australia.
Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at QP 243, near Cornford Bore
