Type specimen: UCMP 37421, a shell. Its type locality is UCMP D8945, which is in a Priabonian marine siltstone in the Keasey Formation of Oregon.

Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal grazer

Distribution: found only at UCMP D8945
