Sister taxon: Coahomasuchus kahleorum

Type specimen: NCSM 23618, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is NCPALEO1902 - brick quarry, which is in a Carnian fluvial conglomerate/sandstone in the Pekin Formation of North Carolina.

Ecology: planktonic herbivore

Distribution: found only at NCPALEO1902 - brick quarry
