Sister taxon: Maaradactylus spielbergi

Type specimen: MPSC R 2357, a skull (A nearly complete skull of toothed pterosaur). Its type locality is Maaradactylus-type locality, which is in an Aptian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Romualdo Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: volant piscivore

Distribution: found only at Maaradactylus-type locality
