Type specimen: MPEF-PV 3613, MPEF-PV 3609, MPEF-PV 3615, a partial skeleton (Braincase, mandible, cervical vertebrae). Its type locality is Canadón Carrizal (4 km south of Cerro Condor), which is in a Toarcian/Bajocian lacustrine - small limestone in the Cañadón Asfalto Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Canadón Carrizal (4 km south of Cerro Condor)
