Type specimen: BPBM 166037, a set of limb elements (tarsometatarsus). Its type locality is Fa'ahia site, Huahine, which is in a Holocene lagoonal sandstone in French Polynesia.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Fa'ahia site, Huahine
