Type specimen: AMNH 411-15-AR18, an exoskeleton (head with 15 or 16 trunk segments). Its type locality is SUNY-B 411 Blenheim-Gilboa Power plant, which is in a Givetian marine sandstone in the Panther Mountain Formation of New York.
