Type specimen: AMNH 5337, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is right bank, Sand Creek (125 ft level) [AMNH], which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Oldman Formation of Canada.

Distribution:
• Cretaceous of Canada (7: Alberta collections)
Total: 7 collections each including a single occurrence
