Type specimen: MNHN.RZ 121, a mandible (mandible with p3-m3). Its type locality is Rouzilhac, which is in a Ypresian/Lutetian coarse channel fill sandstone/siltstone in the Molasse de Carcassonne Formation of France.

Ecology: ground dwelling frugivore-omnivore

Distribution: found only at Rouzilhac
