Type specimen: USNM 93446. Its type locality is Minneapolis, Decorah Shales, which is in a Rocklandian marine shale in the Decorah Formation of Minnesota.

Distribution:

• Ordovician of United States (7: Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota collections)

Total: 7 collections each including a single occurrence
