Type specimen: Shandong Provincial Museum L85112-1, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Tuanwang, Laiyang City (Shandong Prov. Museum coll.), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale in the Laiyang Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Tuanwang, Laiyang City (Shandong Prov. Museum coll.)
