Type specimen: NMMNH P-64166, a skull. Its type locality is NMMNH Locality 5193, which is in an Anisian pond mudstone in the Moenkopi Formation of New Mexico.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at NMMNH Locality 5193
