Type specimen: NMBE 5023210. Its type locality is Bed 114, Jakobsberg quarry, Auenstein AG, which is in an Oxfordian offshore marl in the Wildegg Formation of Switzerland.

Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal grazer-omnivore
