Type specimen: NMBE D4617. Its type locality is Bed 118, Jakobsberg quarry, Auenstein AG, which is in an Oxfordian offshore marl in the Wildegg Formation of Switzerland.
Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal grazer-omnivore

• Jurassic of Switzerland (2 collections)
