Type specimen: NMV P181782, a skull (a good skull and cheek, with counterpart showing the palate and dentition). Its type locality is Mount Howitt Spur along Howqua River, which is in a Givetian lacustrine horizon in the Bindaree Formation of Australia.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Mount Howitt Spur along Howqua River
