Type specimen: HUJ-Pal. 2751, an osteoderm. Its type locality is Makhtech Ramon (HUJ collection), which is in an Illyrian open shallow subtidal limestone/shale in the Gevanim Formation of Israel.
Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Makhtech Ramon (HUJ collection)
