Type specimen: UNM MV-518 (dentary fragment with two teeth). Its type locality is NMMNH Loc. 110, Luciano Mesa, which is in a Norian crevasse splay siltstone/mudstone in the Bull Canyon Formation of New Mexico.

Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at NMMNH Loc. 110, Luciano Mesa
