Sister taxa: Langlieria radiatus, Langlieria smalingi

Type specimen: MNHN ARD 259, a partial skull (anterior part of the skull roof in ventral view with vomers and anterior part of the parasphenoid, preserved in part and counterpart). Its type locality is Langlieria-type locality, which is in a Famennian estuary/bay mudstone in the Evieux Formation of Belgium.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Langlieria-type locality
