Type specimen: AMNH 2092, a set of postcrania (tibiotarsus, tarsometatarsus). Its type locality is "Uinta C" near Ouray, which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Uinta Formation of Utah.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at "Uinta C" near Ouray
