Type specimen: IRSNB M 2172, a mandible (right dentary with m1-3 and alveoli for i1-3, c, and p2-4). Its type locality is Boutersem TGV, which is in a Rupelian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Borgloon Formation of Belgium.
