Type specimen: MLP 90-XII-31-5, a partial skull (cráneo parcial con cinco molariformes preservados y los alvéolos de los cinco restantes; hemimandíbula derecha parcial con los alvéolos de cuatro molariformes, ). Its type locality is Cerro Guenguel, which is in a Mayoan terrestrial horizon in the Río Mayo Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Cerro Guenguel
