Type specimen: PMOL AP00031, a skull (a nearly complete skull, with articulated mandibles and atlas-axis complex). Its type locality is Daxishan pterosaurs, which is in an Oxfordian lacustrine horizon in the Tiaojishan Formation of China.

Ecology: volant piscivore

Distribution: found only at Daxishan pterosaurs
