Sister taxon: Dolichosoma emersoni
Type specimen: CGH Orig. 235, a skeleton. Its type locality is Nyrany, which is in a Westphalian D lacustrine coal in the Kladno Formation of Czechia.
Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Nyrany
