Sister taxa: Richardsonella convexa, Richardsonella elongata, Richardsonella megalops, Richardsonella variagranula

Type specimen: CPC 9712a, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Gola Beds B750, which is in an Iverian marine lime mudstone in the Gola Beds Formation of Australia.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Gola Beds B750
