Sister taxa: Propterkachin bispinatus, Propterkachin pygmaeus, Propterkachin unispinatus

Type specimen: BUB-1132, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (Patrick Müller collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
