Type specimen: NIGP169481, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Daohugou, Xiaobaishan outcrop (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Daohugou, Xiaobaishan outcrop (NIGP collection)
