Type specimen: MLP 91-V-1-55, a partial skull (Fragmentary skul with left DP4-M2 and associated left fragmentary mandible with dp4-m2). Its type locality is Pilcaniyeu Viejo, which is in a Colloncuran terrestrial horizon in the Collón Cura Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Pilcaniyeu Viejo
