Type specimen: SGO-PV 4001-A, a limb element (right tarsometatarsus). Its type locality is Cerro Rucañanco, which is in a Serravallian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone/conglomerate in the Cura-Mallin Formation of Chile.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Cerro Rucañanco
